The Customer Service associate is responsible for handling high volume, inbound calls from customers providing them quality customer service. The associate answers general questions, deals with backorder problems, clarifies company return policies, solves problems, and cancels membership programs. The associate is cross-trained on inbound functions. Through a dynamic and energetic personality, the associate will make sure the customer leaves satisfied after every call.

Responsibilities include:

• Receive inbound calls from customers
• Troubleshooting problems related to shipping, billing, and membership programs
• Process and handle creations and cancellations of catalog requests
• Handle web calls by navigating our internet sites in an efficient manner
• Communicate a resolution to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Clarify AmeriMark’s return procedures
• Adjust complaints concerning billing or products
• Transfer extreme complaints or problems to the Escalation Team or designated supervisor
• Maintain PCI compliance per AmeriMark’s policy
• Offer customers current promotions or discounted products and rewards programs

Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months of customer service or retail experience. Call center experience preferred
• Communication and grammar skills, data entry, interpersonal skills, basic Mathematical skills, detail-oriented, good listening skills, basic computer skills, multi-tasking skills, and customer service skills
• Prompt, regular attendance required. 30-40 hours/week as scheduled. Overtime may be required

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for reviewing and identifying quality issues with received goods for both apparel and shoe divisions. Position requires ability to accurately check daily quality samples for measurement, color, labeling, sizing, packaging, and overall imperfections. The Quality Control Inspector reports to the Sr. Manager Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct complete quality inspections for each item pulled by receiving for approval
• Quality inspects complete shipments that had repeated quality issues
• Communicates the results of the quality inspection to the merchant and Quality Assurance Team
• Communicates to the merchant and Quality Assurance Team when vendor does not adhere to proper shipping and packing requirements
• Compiles any necessary paperwork and prepare items that need to be returned to the vendor
• Acts as a liaison between Receiving and Merchandising
• Performs various clerical tasks when necessary

Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

• Experience with basic garment construction and sewing terminology a plus
• Must be able to use a tape measure
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to identify and report issues
• PC skills to work in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as in email
• Strong basic math skills
• Must be able to stand all day, bend and lift up to 35 lbs.

This position has an evening schedule (M-W 4 pm-12 am Th-F 3 pm-11 pm + some weekends).

• Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience
